YOUTH ARTS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

​In collaboration with Santa Maria Joint Union High School District, Corazón del Pueblo and Ethnic & Gender Studies (EGS) teachers worked to develop and implement a rigorous art project involving students from Santa Maria, and Ernest Righetti High Schools. ​

Cal Poly’s BRILLANTE (Bilingual/Responsive Instruction for Language Learners And New Teachers/Educators) program aims todevelop and implement a Grow Your Own (GYO) pre-service teacher preparation program that will recruit and support 80 undergraduate bilingual scholars

PANEL SPEAKER

Invited by the nonprofit Mujeres de Acción, I participated in a panel discussion in Paso Robles to share the impact of my illustrations and artwork, which center the experiences of the Indigenous migrant community on the Central Coast. This platform allowed me to speak more deeply about the significance of my work and its role in fostering dialogue and insight within the broader community.

Cover art designed and illustrated for Los Tranquilos. The album cover is a homage to classic Mexican album art and romantic ballads from the 1960s, reimagined with a contemporary twist in both style and visual language.

COLLEGE DEPARTMENT ARTWORK

Collaborated with El Congreso at UC Santa Barbara by lending one of my illustrations to be showcased during their student event. The artwork was also made into stickers and distributed on campus, helping to engage students and amplify cultural visibility through visual storytelling.
